Q: What is Zapak Mobile?
A: Zapak Mobile is the World’s first multiplayer mobile games portal. It’s a simple and interesting platform to play games on-the-go, regardless of your mobile phone operator and compete with a large audience of wireless gamers.
Q: How much do I have to pay?
A: Not a penny! Zapak Mobile is completely free to use and play. However, your mobile phone operator might charge you to access the Internet via a GPRS connection and to download or play any of the games. Make sure you read up on the service terms of your operator before playing.
Q: What is the requirement to play these games?
A: To play the games featured on Zapak Mobile, you must log on with a compatible handset (a list of compatible handsets is listed on this very page!). If your handset is not listed, fear not, coz if your phone supports Java MIDP 2.0, you’re probably good to start playing anyway. Also, you need to be connected to the Internet via an active GPRS connection. Most mobile operators now offer this service at an added cost.
Q: How do I setup my GPRS?
A: As we’ve mentioned before, most mobile operators offer GPRS as a bonus service. To setup GPRS, simply head over to your operator’s website and follow their instructions.
Q: The website does not load. What should I do?
A: Firstly, don’t panic! Make sure you’re spelling the name of our website right (www.zapak.mobi) and try to refresh the page as well. If this doesn’t work, ensure that your GPRS is working correctly and you are able to send and receive data. If all fails, visit the help page, our minions are waiting to assist you!
Q: My phone is not detected correctly, what’s happening?
A: It’s very likely that your phone is not supported. If this is not the case, you must be using an incorrect Java version. Head over to your handset manufacturers website, it’s time for an update!
Q: My game does not open after downloading? Did I do something wrong?
A: If you downloaded the game properly without turning off your phone or dropping it in a bucket of water, it’s probably not your fault. Make sure that your handset is supported though, and if it is then your best bet is to head to the help section.
Q: How can I play with someone else?
A: To play with someone you know, download the game and start. Now, select the “Play against a Friend” option to enter your friend’s details and you’re done. If you don’t have any friends, make some with the standard multiplayer option and let the computer hook you up!
Q: How do I improve my rating?
A: Easy! Just play and win. The more you win, the higher your rating goes!
Q: How do I invite my friends?
A: To invite a friend, select the Invite Friend option (obviously!), in the game and enter your friend’s mobile number. It will cost you an SMS, but we think it’s worth all the fun!
Q: How do I upload my photo?
A: Send your pretty mug (or someone else’s for that matter) to mms1@zapak.com and provide your USER ID. You will receive a confirmation email for the same and in quick time, your photo will be visible to an audience of gamers and stalkers alike!
