| 1. | What if I forgot my password or Zapak Mail ID? | |||
| A. | If by a freak of nature or a catastrophe you forget your Password or Zapak ID, all you need to do is click on the Forgot Password/User ID link (on the Login Page). Blindly follow the instructions. You will be asked some questions in order to validate your request. The answers you enter will be compared to the information that you've provided us during registration. And voila! Your Zapak Mail ID and password will be recovered. | |||
| 2. | How do I change my password? | |||
| A. | Oh it's very simple! Just Sign-in on Zapak Mail with your current password to access your account. Then click on the 'My Account' link on the top of the page. You'll get an option of Password [ Change ], which on clicking allows you to enter a new password of your choice. It's your password after all. You can change it anytime you want! | |||
| 3. | Why doesn't my password work? | |||
| A. | Maybe some evil alien has conspired against you! Nah just kiddin'. It's possible that you've entered the wrong Username and/or Password at the login prompt. In this case you can use the Forgot Password link for assistance. But if you're confident 'bout your memory, then just check that Caps Lock button on your keyboard. Your username and Password, are case-sensitive. So make sure the Caps Lock is not on. In case there is an error message please take a screenshot of the page and send it to helpdesk@zapak-corp.com. We'll fix it! | |||

To Sign up for Zapak Mail, just follow the instructions for new users on the Login page. During registration, you'll be asked to choose a Zapak User ID and pick a password. |

| 5. | Does Zapak use Cookies? | |||

| 6. | Why is registration information important? | |||
| A. |
Accurate information is important in case you ever forget your Zapak User ID or Password. We will need to confirm your identity using the Date of Birth (DOB) and Postal Code that you provided during registration or when you last updated your account. |

| 7. | What is an alternate email address? | |||
| A. |
To complete your registration for a Zapak Mail account, you need to enter an alternate (non-Zapak) email address. We use the alternate email address to send you information regarding your account, updates regarding Zapak, and a new password if you ever need one to be sent to you. We have found this to be an effective tool, especially if someone is having problems with their Zapak Mail account. |

| 8. | What should I do if I think someone has accessed my account without permission? | |||
| A. | You can immediately use the Change Password option within the My Account information page. | |||
| 9. | I received an email claiming to be from Zapak asking for my password or other personal information. | |||

If you've received an email claiming to be from Zapak that asks for your Password or other private information, you've likely received a "phishing" email. These emails typically contain links that appear to go to a Zapak site but actually link you to a "fake" or "spoofed" Zapak site. |

| 10. | How do I customize the 'From:' address on outgoing mail? | |||
| A. | As of now, you cannot customize the From: address on outgoing mails. It will remain your UserId@zapak.com | |||
| 11. | How do I create folders? | |||
| A. | Folders can be created by choosing the Manage Folders option once you sign-in to Zapak Mail. You will be allowed to add a folder of your choice and move messages into them. | |||
| 12. | How do I view the size of a message? | |||
| A. | The size column on top of the Inbox shows the individual size of each email message. | |||
| 13. | How do I mark messages as 'read' or 'unread?' | |||
| A. | Click on the check box next to the email message and then click on the "Mark as read"/ "Mark as unread" options on the left side of the page. In case you cannot view these options click on the More Options box to show you the entire list of options. |

| 14. | How do I forward my mail to another email account automatically? | |||
| A. | As of now this facility is unavailable with Zapak Mail. However, it will be rolled out soon! So watch out! | |||
| 15. | How do I set up an automatic vacation response? | |||
| A. | The feature is in a testing phase and will be rolled out soon. | |||
| 16. | Why can't I see the images in a message? | |||
| A. | The browser could be stopping you from showing these images/pictures due to connectivity issues. Right click on the picture (a red cross will be visible) and click on the Show Picture option. If the picture still cannot be viewed, it could be corrupted. | |||
| 17. | Why am I receiving failed delivery replies to messages I never sent? | |||
| A. |
Many spammers use software applications to generate random lists of email addresses at common domains, based on words in the dictionary. Spammers then use these lists for illegal mass mailings. This practice is called 'dictionary spamming.' |

| 18. | How do I print an individual message? | |||
| A. | Click on "Print Preview" option at the top of the message that you want to print. This will show you a preview and then you can choose to print the individual message. | |||
| 19. | How do I set the time and date in my account? | |||
| A. | The time and date in IST is taken from the Zapak servers and there is no feature to alter this date at the user's end. | |||

| 1. | How do I import contacts? | |||
| A. | As of now, this feature is not present in Zapak Mail. | |||
| 2. | How do I create a Contact Group? | |||
| A. | The 'Creating Groups' feature will be rolled out soon. | |||
| 3. | How do I use the Address Book? | |||
| A. | You can click on the Address book option on the left menu to add, search or send an email to a particular contact. You can also click on "Add to Address book" link next to any addresses from which the mail has been received in your Inbox. | |||
| 4. | How do I send a message to multiple contacts? | |||
| A. | Once you choose the Compose Mail option, you can click on the "To" button to choose multiple contacts in a message. | |||
| 5. | How do I add people to my Address Book? | |||
| A. | You can click on the "Add to Address Book" option next to any Email address to add the particular address to your Address book. You can also click on the Address Book option on the left menu to add a contact. All it requires is a First name, Last name and the email address. | |||
| 6. | What is auto-complete and how does it work? | |||
| A. | When you type an address in the To:, Cc:, or Bcc: field of a message you're composing, Zapak Mail will suggest addresses from your Contacts list. Hit Enter to choose the name at the top of the list, or scroll down to choose a different address. If Zapak Mail doesn't suggest the address you want, just continue typing. | |||

| A. | You can click on Address Book option on the left menu and then enter the email address that you want to search in the Search Box. | |||

| A. | Next to each listing in the "Address Book", there is a small "Edit" button which can be used to edit a contact's details. | |||
| 9. | To how many recipients can I address a single message? | |||
| A. | A single message can go to upto 500 recipients' as of now. | |||

| A. | You can choose the contact in the Address Book and click on the "delete" button. | |||

| 13. | Can I send links to web pages in my messages? | |||

You can send hyperlinks such as 'http://www.zapak.com/' in Zapak Mail messages. To send clickable hyperlinks, include the full web address, along with http://, in the body of the message. |

With Zapak Mail, you can send and receive messages up to 16 megabytes (MB) in size. However, the precise amount allowable will depend on the attachment. When you add an attachment, the size of a file may increase because transport encodings are automatically added. (Transport encodings are the information that allows your message to be safely sent and read.) |

Unfortunately, yes. Zapak Mail messages are sometimes delivered to spam, bulk, and junk folders by other webmail providers. |

| 8. | What should I do if a message is improperly marked as spam? | |||
| A. | Use Zapak Mail's 'Not Spam' button to unmark mail that's been misclassified. Just open 'Spam,' check the box next to the message that isn't spam, and click 'Not Spam' along the top. You'll also see the 'Not Spam' button at the top of spam messages you've opened, so you can unmark messages from Conversation View, too. Unmarking messages moves them to your inbox. |
